Our son Mekan is 5 years old. We are from Belarus.
In June 2025, Mekan underwent a transplantation of his own stem cells for the treatment of autism at the Mardaleishvili Clinic in Georgia.
During this period, we would like to highlight the following positive results.
Mekan’s immune system has improved significantly. Previously, during the winter, he often suffered from bronchitis and viral infections. This year, he has not been ill.
His understanding of addressed speech has improved, and he has started using more complex sentences in his speech. He learns poems and songs, can retell stories, and has learned to write well and count to twenty.
Mekan has become interested in other children and tries to establish contact with them. He has also started to show affection towards us and enjoys hugging.
Improvements have been observed in sensory skills: previously, he could not hold a pen or pencil, but now he draws, colors, and writes. Before the transplantation, he refused to walk on snow; this winter, he learned to slide down hills and play snowballs.
All specialists working with Mekan note significant positive progress after the transplantation.
We are very grateful to the doctors of the Mardaleishvili Clinic and hope for further improvement in our son’s condition.
